How To Make A Bag from Jeans

Hello viewers! I have decided to post lots of ways to create ingenious things! This bag for example, is a great way to recycle old jeans into something new and cool. It even has ready made pockets to hold all your stuff.
To make it you will need:

1. Jeans - Some you don't mind cutting up. The front and backside should be in a good condition, but the legs don't really matter.

2. Sewing needle & thread/ Sewing Machine
3. Chalk

4. Measuring Tape
5. Scissors

Here's how to do it:
1. Lay the jeans on a table so you can see the back pockets. Cut off the legs off, right where they meet the crotch ( the part where the jeans split in two ).

2. Time to sew the bottom. Stitch a straight line all the way through the bottom, using medium sized stitches. If your using a sewing machine be careful sewing through seams ( two or more layers of fabric stitched together), as they can sometimes break your needle.

3. Now get your belt and put it through the belt loops. Now to Make A Handle. Get the left over material from the jeans. For a shoulder bag cut a strip of 2 inches by 20 inches. For a side bag cut a strip of 2 inches by 40 -50 inches. Tie it onto the belt, and TADA!!! ou've got your handle!!!

Tips
Try adding new things onto it, why not add some buttons or sequins?
You could even add an iron on patch or an extra pocket.
You could experiment with different handles or belts. You could change the handle to match the latest season trends.

Hope this helps!
