Reading Project

Dear readers, at school we have to do the Reading Project. The Reading Project is basically four book we have to read and write about. For each book you write something different; an author biography, a creative writing piece, a plot summary and a review. The four books I am choosing are Rebecca, Murder on the Orient Express, Animal Farm and My Name is Mina. It is also a competition and I really want to win (my sister did).

Some real psychology...

Dear readers,
Do you know why I love to blog? Because it's something to do, a purpose, a goal, a way to look back on everything you've done. Sort of like a diary, but not to personal. Like a journal, but much better. You can talk with others, you can show hem what you see, and see what they see. You can write about your day, past or present. If you do not have a blog, I urge you to get one. The word you write will dance like flies, they will fly in strange and beautiful directions. Write! As a wise man once said 'Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.'

Uh! Working...

Dear readers,
I am getting such bad math results that I'mm going to do something about it. I'm working this half term but its only the start of the week and I'm feeling like its a dead loss. This usually happens so I'm not surprised. But I have found a very effective way of making sure I do what I am supposed to. A schedule. I basically made a to-do list and put it in a day. Now I'm back on track. :) It's easier because I think, if I finish this quickly, I can do some of tomorrows work and relax tomorrow. But even with schedules life becomes tiring when you don't get what you want. That's why I blog. Its something to do, a purpose or a goal.
Anyway, being this psy-col-logical gets tiring. So, as much as we'd both hate to (I am sure!) I have to go and start working again, before my sister takes my laptop! :)

IQ

Hey readers! I was really bored today, so I did an IQ test! Here are some IQ scores:

140+ Extraordinary intelligence
130-140 Very superior intelligence
120-130 Superior intelligence
110-120 High average intelligence

90-110 Average intelligence
I know this is very immodest but I always get rubbish test scores especially in maths, 57% once :(.
Anyway, here's my score!:
IQ Test
Oh yeah!Sorry.

Interesting Fact: Suicide Laws

Hey readers! Every week I'll post an interesting fact or two! Did you know according to a British law made in 1845, attempting suicide was an offence. You would be hanged for trying. LOL!

Optimism

Have you ever had one of those awful moments when everything seems to go wrong? Well, me too. Today, I forgot my school bag. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but I have homework. I'll probably have to go to school half an hour early (I live an hour away already!) and cram my homework in then. Great. But I shall be optimistic. I mean, what if my parents got angry if I was so stupid as to forget my bag? Well, there not and I'm glad! Also, what if I left my science folder at home? I have a science test (on Energy and Forces!) tomorrow, 1st lesson. Luckily, I decided to leave it at home. (Actually, I could have used my sisters old science folder but I won't think about that now...). Whatever life may bring you, be optimistic. Think of life like an illness. It has to get worse before it gets better. (Trust me, i'm on the worst part!). Like Richard M. DeVos said 'Few things in the world are more powerful than a positive push. A smile. A world of optimism and hope. A "you can do it" when things are tough.'
